Biographical information:

Since school, I've been... Attended UTC then TTU. Taught at an alternative school for 4 years. Married an Alabama boy in 1989. We adopted 3 children in 2000.

My family: Doug - Husband of 17 years. Wood shop and math teacher at an alternative school for troubled youth. Lee - age 14 Excellent student, Eagle Scout. Rebecca - age 13 Cheerleader for school and with life in general. Misty - age 11 - my social butterfly who is mentally challenged. My sisters, Agnee (Nashville) married with 3 boys and Keeli, (Crossville) married with 3 girls. My parents (Crossville) are finally building their dream home.

Life experiences: Life itself is an everyday great experience. God is good and He is patience when Life is fast. I look forward to each new day's challenges and rewards and stand in awe at the daily reminders God puts in place to remind me that He is in charge.

My favorite things in school: I loved school. Every aspect of it - friends, teachers, sports, extra activities.

My favorite things now: Family! I'm a stay at home mom. I stay busy with soccer, football, cheerleading, PTO, etc. I do enjoy reading and slip it in as often as possible.

My favorite books, movies and music: My favorite book is by Ermma Bombeck. "I want to grow up, I want to grow hair, I want to go to Boise." It contains interviews and stories from kids who have or have not survived cancer. Sadly, many years after completing the book, Ms. Bombeck was dianoised and died of cancer.
